Product details
Product Introduction:

PMA2100 is a research grade data recording radiometer that can measure UVA, UVB, UVC, Visible, and IR light through the combination of over 35 different detectors. The PMA2100 uses intelligent sensors for detection and data processing, and allows users to quickly add new sensors to measure different types of light without changing the meter head. PMA2100 has functions such as graphical display, data recording, comprehensive processing and calculation, unit selection measurement, averaging, minimum and maximum tracking, dose synthesis, and threshold alarm setting. All these functions are integrated into this handheld device.

Users can choose from multiple bandwidth sensors, ranging from ultraviolet to mid infrared, as well as humidity and temperature sensors. The PMA2100 adopts the latest sensor technology and target oriented methods in its design, enabling it to support various sensors (up to 4 analog signals generated)Detector settings and algorithm integration into the detector.

Users can add the required sensors If there are special functional requirements for PMA2100, users can upgrade it by downloading new software on their PC.

Protecting data PMA2100 stores data in a non-volatile memory, allowing it to be saved for several years without loss.

PMA2100 not only records measurement structures, but also automatically stores or prints other important data, including sensor serial numbers and calibration deadlines. This is more practical than the so-called precise measurement that only records the results.

You don't need to change your usage habits The intelligent memory function of the PMA2100 sensor enables it to save and remember the latest set parameters, including units and alarm thresholds, avoiding users from setting them repeatedly.

Main features:

  1. Can be compatible with multiple types of detectors Many standard detectors are available in stock. Due to the excellent performance of PMA2100, it is possible to quickly customize detector connections with minimal cost.
  2. Easy to use After connecting with the detector, PMA2100 will automatically set parameters to adapt to the new sensor. No longer need to input programs and calibration factors. The detector related information is compressed and stored in its chip.
  3. Portability The PMA2100 has powerful performance but is only the size of a palm. Up to 2 detectors can be connected simultaneously. Rechargeable batteries can work continuously for 30 hours.
  4. Data storage Up to 1024 data records can be stored in the internal memory Storage can be manually triggered or automatically triggered at user set time intervals (1 minute to 2 hours). Adopting a unified recording structure for all detectors simplifies data management.
  5. Traceability Each data sample is accompanied by a set of relevant auxiliary information, such as date, time, detector type and serial number, current usage unit, user set scaling factor, detector calibration effective date, and instrument status information. This provides convenience for GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
  6. Anti interference capability The signal amplification is completed inside a metal box of the detector. The signal is connected to PMA2100 through an anti EMI and ESD interference cable.
  7. Automatic unit conversion The measurement results can be displayed in multiple units, simply press the button to select the unit. If necessary, customized units and conversion rules can be programmed into the input detector.
  8. Computer interface Connect to a PC via RS232 serial port for data storage and transmission. PMA Organizer, a Windows based software, makes data retrieval, archiving, and reading easier.
  9. User set alerts Each detector can be set with independent alarm instantaneous values or dose control values. The alarm settings can be stored in the detector and activated when using the detector.
  10. The independent digital input/output PMA2100 can control processes through visually independent digital I/O Output can start or stop dose collection, and output can be triggered by dose and numerical alarms. For some projects, radiation dose control may be necessary. Power relay can be selected as an accessory.
